Meet Sarrah

Collecting tundra and permafrost soil cores at Toolik Field Station (July ’16).

I am a postdoctoral scholar with a background in environmental chemistry, geochemistry, and soil science. I am especially interested in applying bench-scale experiments and molecular level characterizations to understand field-scale behavior and fate of environmental contaminants and compounds. I enjoy sharing my love of and enthusiasm for science with others and sparking their curiosity about the world around us.
